ELISA

AgraQuant® Mycotoxin products are based on the ELISA method. By joint sample extraction using a 70% methanol solution for the analysis of six classes of mycotoxins with eight different kits. Binding of the antigen to the appropriate antibody is followed by washing to remove unbound antigens-antibodies. This is followed by a color reaction with the color rendered to be inversely proportional to the concentration of mycotoxin in the sample or standard. Finally, with an acid solution, the reaction stops, making it now possible to measure the given intensity using a photometer.
